Thanks to Borders gliding club and all its members and their support.

Special thanks to:
The Caroline trust for their help towards getting my solo and beyond. With their contribution to my flying costs I was able to fly solo on the 30th of June 2005, my 16th birthday.
Bill Steven for his ongoing support,
Bob Cassidy for the use of his photos (and Instructing),
Keith Latty for getting me established with gliding,
Graham Mitcheson for getting me to the club when I struggled to get there.
Also a very special thanks to all the instructors and tug pilots and everyone who makes the club possible.

Looking cool in the astia

This site is dedicated to David Swaddle a fellow sixth form student at St. Benet Biscop High who sadly died of a brain tumour only weeks after being diagnosed with it. He was an ambitious young student that managed to fulfil his dream...

To become a pilot....

He was also a solo gliding pilot who will be remembered.
